Simple Mobile won't let you change plans in the middle of your cycle. You have to wait until your next Reup date. You can change your plan in your account (www.simplemobile.com/myaccount) anytime, and then when your billing cycle is up, you just Reup at the $50 rate and your next cycle will be on the $50. Any Simple Mobile dealer can also update your plan, but you have to do it in your next billing cycle.

Update: Your plan can be changed at any time. You will have to pay the full months service for the new plan, you will lose any remaining days on your old plan and your new billing cycle will change.
